Spots for Glamping Near Brighton
If you’re interested in planning a camping trip but want some of the comforts of home, glamping near Brighton might be your best bet. These campsites in particular really caught my attention and I can’t wait to explore some of them over the summer!
Brighton Experience Freedom GlampingÂ
Location: 2 miles from Brighton
Rates: Starting at £17.30
Situated within walking distance of the famous Royal Pavillion and Brighton Pier, Bright Experience Gamping offers easy access to all the city’s attractions. Their bell tents, shepherd’s huts and glamping pods provide cozy accommodations, complete with double beds, hot showers, and modern kitchens.
Unwind around the fire pit or enjoy a dip in the hot tub while taking in the garden views. They’re known for their excellent customer service and proximity to the city center, making it a perfect base for your Brighton adventures.
Wild Boar Wood CampsiteÂ
Location: West Sussex
Rates: Starting at £95/night
Wild Boar Wood Campsite is your best bet if you’re after a unique and eco-friendly glamping adventure! This small-scale site in West Sussex offers a range of accommodations, including shepherd’s huts and treehouses, surrounded by lush nature.
I’d recommend staying in their ‘Wild Glamping’ Bell Tent near an open fire while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The friendly campsite staff and well-maintained shower facilities ensure a comfortable stay, while the nearby Steam Railways and Climping Beach offer excellent day trip options. Enjoy the privacy of your own fire pit, explore the nearby nature trails or visit popular attractions like Volk’s Electric Railway. This family-run site is still a working farm with local produce and a valuable part of the community.
It provides a truly authentic countryside getaway!Â
Blackberry WoodÂ
Location: 7 miles North of Brighton

Escape to Blackberry Wood, a charming glamping destination in the heart of Sussex. This family campsite features an array of accommodations, from gypsy caravans to luxury tents and cosy cabins, each with its own unique character.
Unwind in the seating area by your own fire pit, explore the nature trails or indulge in the delicious food at the on-site country pub! With its proximity to Brighton Marina and the beautiful South Coast, Blackberry Wood is the perfect retreat for those seeking a mix of adventure and relaxation. This is the best option if you want something super close to Brighton with affordable options for your next vacation.
Wowo Campsite

This property offers a fantastic glamping experience, as it’s surrounded by the beauty of the South Downs. Settle into one of their luxury tents, equipped with comfortable beds, seating areas and private dining areas. The glamping options include their Lotus Bell Tents, Geodomes, Shepherds Huts and Yurts. I personally love the look of their Gypsy Wagon hut!
Don’t forget to also enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, take in the views of the countryside and explore the nearby nature trails. Wapsbourne is a haven for nature enthusiasts and food lovers alike.
